Bosch DAS 3000

The new Bosch DAS 3000 is a computer-based calibration and adjustment device for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) in cars and commercial vehicles. It is available in two models: the DAS 3000 S10, which aligns to the vehicle centerline and is specially designed to meet the needs of glass fitters; and the DAS 3000 S20, which aligns to the drive axle and is ideal for body shops, quick repair centers, service centers, and service concept workshops. Both solutions can be used with Bosch’s Multi Target Shop targets. 

With the new dual-camera system, calibration and adjustment using the DAS 3000 is easier and more efficient. The integrated cameras digitally capture the distance between the alignment device and the vehicle using software. During positioning, the software displays the current values to the service center staff. When the device is correctly positioned in front of the vehicle, there is no need for lasers or measuring tapes for alignment. 

With the ESI[tronic] diagnostic software, service centers not only receive step-by-step troubleshooting guidance but also ECU and sensor diagnostics. 

The software provides information and guidance for service and repair, as well as sequential values for target positioning during calibration. It displays the required height at which the target must be mounted on the alignment device holder, as well as the distance to the vehicle. Targets can be easily attached using vehicle-specific mounts to predefined color-coded positions, reducing installation time. Calibration targets can be installed quickly and effortlessly on the mounts. 

The XL universal calibration target for the Volkswagen Group is included in the delivery scope of the DAS 3000 for front camera calibration of Volkswagen Group vehicles. It must be mounted horizontally for camera calibration, and vertically for radar calibration, providing versatility that saves time and space. Additional calibration targets are part of Bosch’s Multi Target Shop and cover mainstream vehicle manufacturers. All targets from the Multi Target Shop are compatible with the DAS 3000, making it a versatile device for the calibration needs of all types of service centers.
